I like the idea of the utili-track system but I can't seem to find any used ones on e-bay. I think I'd prefer to use a track system to secure things in my truck (e.g. truck drawers) rather than bolting it directly to the bed of the truck. Have any of you fabricated or adapted the utili-track system? Pictures?

yea i put in track from macs tie downs. works great and made in the usa.
Aircraft cargo track is the closest alternative that comes in numerous sizes, shapes and such. US Cargo Control is a great supplier of such things:

I have a new Frontier and am looking too. My last truck had the Utilitrack and it was easy to bolt stuff on, it was the same size as used for electrical hangers. So I could bolt bike fork mounts and other stuff to it. Not sure if the L-Track can have anything bolted to it. Any one know?
