Was just in Costco and saw these aluminum folding loading ramps for $99. Two pieces, each one folding in the middle, about 12"X90". Rated for 600 pounds each, but that was for a load centered near the hinge point. I bet if you just didn't assemble the pieces together, you would have four 12"X48" sand ladders, that might bend a bit when used, two of them are pre-arched and the other two are flat. 30 pounds for all 4 sections. These photos from their web site are not exactly what was in the store, but close. I don't currently have a set, and with a winch and PullPal, might never need 'em, but ya never know. Certainly not a bridging ladder, but for adding on an option at very light weight, are they totally laughable?
