Those are standard '50cal' cans. They're just under 8" tall including the handle, if anyone's interested in putting them in a storage platform drawer.
That's kinda steep (in general, not really for 'new'), but by the time you have some shipped it's not much different. Have to find a good in-person deal at a gun show or flea market to really beat it.

These were at my local Costco over the weekend.
That is a good price. On occasion these cans will turn up at garage sales and they are all over ebay but you won't save much money compared to that price.

hmmm, I was not aware that a .30cal can fit inside a .50cal. .... wanders off to check that...
... I'll be damned. Been using and messing with these things for decades and never noticed or ran across the info that one would fit inside the other. Never even noticed despite keeping both inside a 20mm can. How ironic.
ok I revise my first comment, this is a VERY GOOD deal. $20 for TWO new cans. Won't find a better deal anywhere but a surplus store in a small town outside the main gates of a huge Army base.

Amo boxes are always cool but crossing borders between country will creat panic with law officers ,not recomended .
