Amp Box Mounting

Hey guys I have a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder and I have an alpine f450 amp and have built a small box to put it in. I am debating whether to use it or to build a storage locker to put other stuff in but also put the amp in. The only problem is that I have a lot of long objects that I need to lay across my whole backseats like snowboards and golf clubs. But any ways the only problem I am running into is how do I mount the box? I sorta didn't really want to drill through the floor panel is there any other way to mount the amp maybe seat back? Any help would be appreciated.

I also have an 03, did you think about putting the amp in the little cargo area under the carpet in the back.

I have two Alpine amps in the cubby-hole underneath the rear floor. Heat has never been an issue, and I have a remote amp thermal indicator, as well as thermal overload cutoffs for both amps. They have never gotten wet, or had any issues.

That's the best place to mount them, and you can mount it to the plastic tray with screws and not have to drill through the floor of the vehicle.:jumping:

I wish i would have realized that before installing it. I was going to put it there but thought that the heat would be an issue so I decided agaisnt it and when installed did not leave enough RCA cable and speaker wire. So I am sorta limited to right behind the right rear seat.
