Hiya all -

I am one of the one-leggers that inhabit the expeditionary world. I appreciate the expedition portal for having a place to discuss and share topics that might enhance our travels and overall journey through life on planet earth.

I wanted to share a website about an organization called AMPSURF. http://ampsurf.org/ . This August 13th they will hold Operation Restoration IV at Pismo Beach. It is a clinic for disabled civilians and veterans to learn how to surf with their disability or custom field modification.

I realize that planning for inclusion for this next event might be tight for this year, but maybe the next event.

This is all part of our grand amputee global takeover, first land then sea and finally air!

All kidding aside, as an amputee I am glad to see these kind of events as outdoor rec in any form is great therapy. Expo is very welcoming and inclusive and please keep us posted on anything else in the future.
