Anderson Power Plugs Retail Store?

So I am looking to simplify some 12v electrical with a couple Anderson Power Plugs. However, I am not really sure what exactly I need or really what they look like in person. Rather than taking a shot and guessing at what I need with an online order, I am wondering if there is a big box store or some retail shop that would carry a good selection of them. Would anyone happen to know? Home Depot, Lowe’s, True Value, Ace, etc...

Any other tips would be appreciated as well.

Not sure where you're located but most Ham radio places stock some of the smaller sizes. Powerwerx has a huge selection if you use the internet.

Doubtful you will find APP connectors at retailers mentioned. You will have better luck at electrical specialist / industrial supplier.

Yeahhhh that is what I was afraid of. Hunting down an industrial supplier.

The HAM radio suggestion is a good thought. I will take a gander around me here in Prescott, AZ.

Thanks for the lead on Powerwerx. I will check them out. I’m been looking through Mouser recently, but it kinda hard to tell what’s-what on there.

I’m in Prescott, Arizona.

I have 100 amp breakers on either end, so probably something just over that for a little wiggle room.

Phoenix has a Ham Radio Outlet. They might stock some PP15/30/45 terminals and red and black housings. Maybe bagged by Powerwerx.

The problem is with the demise of Radio Shack there's really not much consumer outlet for electrical distributors anymore so you get limited options with ham radio places and industrial/commercial sales who may not be much into small cash order. So you're forced typically online to Powerwerx, Del City, Waytek, etc.

Radio Shack, Sears, Kmart, went into the local sears before they closed and it was kinda sad.

Now things like Anderson Plugs its amazon, kind of amazing how fast you can get almost anything.

Me too, had a Sears right by my house. I hate that they are gone. Many things in my home came from there and basically every hand-me-down tool from my father, about 3 shops worth, are the old school unbeatable Craftsman stuff. I'm glad to have it, but no more easy free replacements.

Though I agree Amazon is the bee's knees, we've lost something. Every single day Bezos puts no telling how many Mom n Pops out of business. It's essentially a monopoly and we're all complicit. I would say 95% of our family Christmas arrived in a Prime box and that didn't have much to do with Covid, maybe 10% if I had to give it a number.

Anyway, sorry for the threadjack. OP, I am with you, I think it would be much easier for the newbie (like me) to purchase something like Anderson Power Poles if I could go check them out in person.

For replacement craftsman tools you have Lowe’s

There used to be a sears at the mall by my house but that’s gone. There is one about 30 minutes west or the same south but the stores are almost empty. Very sad.

I still frequent a lot of family run business but they are disappearing one by one. Mainly because the kids don’t want to work the hours or think it is horrible to be on call in the evening or on the weekend

My go to hardware place is McMaster Carr
