Antenna Mount Recommendation for AEV Tire Carrier

Im looking for suggestions for the cleanest way to mount a 2m/70cm antenna on the AEV JK Tire Carrier. I looked at all of th pictures I can find (including the Expeditions West JK) and I cannot tell what mounts were used. Is everyone drilling out a larger hole? Im looking for something that can handle my shorty antenna around town but also my longer whip when I'm out in the boonies.

I just ordered a diamond K540 mount. I just got their NR770HB antenna too, and it seems nice, and compact. Also the mount option I choose comes with a 13' cable assembly. It appears to mount onto square or round tubing, and is adjustable. It's on Back order till this coming week, so I don't have it yet, but I am confident it will be fine.

I am putting mine on a Jeep also. I cut my stock tire carrier 3rd brake light off, so I plan to maybe fab something to mount it from there somehow?

You can purchase a NMO mount that accommodates a thicker mounting plate. Google thick NMO mount. No addition drilling required. You just have to make sure that everyone knows to lower the rear glass before closing the tailgate. (You might buy a second NMO mount as a spare just in case.)
