Check out “Unique” portable fridges, I bought mine through Costco. Dual zone, separately controlled, pretty sweet deal. Has been plugged in keeping my beers cold since I bought it this past fall! Lol.

Cheap is expensive

Cheap is, but low-frills can often give great bang for the buck. I got six solid years out of my Edgestar before I sold it to another user who was still happy with it the last time I checked in. There's literally a whole thread with hundreds of pages of people who've scored great deals on Scratch-n-Dent Edgestars and have had good service from them.

My Truckfridge has been going strong for close to five years also. It was NIB, but was definitely one of the cheapest upright fridges I could buy. Built by Indel with the same Danfoss compressor as everyone else - makes you wonder why one would pay more for a different brand?

I made a separate thread on this but will also post here. Backcountry is having a sale on older basic Dometic CF Fridges. Not to be confused with CFX, CFF, or CF3. Their discount prices change frequently so I'd pick one up now at deep discounted price before it goes back up. These are a great option for those wanting big discounts and don't care for fancy blu-tooth or LED features.
