Any other Campa trailer owners?

Don't know if you're the only one, but you've just made me totally green with envy. (Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors trailer!) Campa is the one we plan on getting when we have the time to really start travelling the country. Give us a few years to let us get the kids out on their own and we'll have one!

Totally cool...even if you didn't provide any pics...

We don't have too many off-road trailer manufacturers in North America, unfortunately, and depending on what you need, Campa can certainly be the right one. Adventure Trailers and Outlander have some nice trailers too, it all depends on your needs and your budget. Campa certainly isn't cheap though. :)

We chose Campa for several reasons: We wanted something narrow that would fit in heavily forested trails, had a low center of gravity (44 gals of water between the frame rails), had a water filter, big fridge, covered kitchen (for those rainy days), and hot water on demand. The pop-up rack also allows us to use a tent with walls around the kitchen for those rainy / windy days.

The Campa also has it's downsides though -- there were a lot of compromises made during construction -- All small stuff that was a PIA to fix, like replacing the water hoses, sealing the center-tub seams, replacing over 60 rivets (loose and/or leaking), re-varnishing the kitchen cabinets, re-mounting the Zarges cases (conflicted with tent poles), and fixing a bad ground in the kitchen light. I'll probably change all the lights to LEDs in the future too.

I started a Campa Trailer Owners page on Facebook, and uploaded several pictures: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Campa-Trailer-Owners/477637610573
