Any VW Diesel Swaps here?

Hello all,

I'm currently researching and trying to figure out what sort of mods/aftermarket products are recommended for an early to mid 90s 1.6 TDI

I'm going to be purchasing and Acme Diesel Conversion kit and do the swap in my 1986 Samurai.. their kits come with everything you need but I can do a custom order and exclude certain parts so I want to get upgraded parts (only what is necessary)

I installed the 1.9 IDI into my Samurai with an Acme kit.

1.6TD high-output. As the others suggest ACME is the way to go. Its easier than IKea.

I live at high elevation so a turbo is in my sights. Its my daily driver so I don't want to kill too much mpg also.
