Anybody know the white Rover in NW Houston?

A couple of days ago in the afternoon, about 2-4 p.m. or so, I saw a white Land Rover with an Eazi Awn RTT, red High-lift Jack on the back vertically next to the spare, and a couple of Sceptors or the equivalent (one red, one blue) on the safari rack toward the back. The driver was driving east on Louetta Rd. between Stuebner Airline and I-45.

This morning at about 7:45 a.m., I saw the same vehicle driving west on Louetta Rd. between Stuebner Airline and Champion Forest.

I could not get my camera out quick enough to get some shots.

Anybody know if the owner is an ExPo member?

I cannot imagine very many Eazi Awns in NW Houston. IIRC, that is the first one I have ever seen in person.

Sounds like a sharp looking rig!

I've seen similar rigs in San Antonio and they belong to the South Texas Rovers group. Would love to wheel with them sometime. Maybe we can get more here and plan an expedition.

I don't know who it is but you might check out texasrovers.com as thats the local LR club site. It might have a members list.

Thanks. I joined, but don't have posting privileges (yet?). Anybody else a member of www.texasrovers.com that could post a question for me?

It is nice looking for sure. I will try to meet the driver if I have time the next time I see them.

Where are you guys based, in Texas?. I am in Dallas and I am looking for some information about "sand" where can I find some desert roads... besides Padre Island?

There's lots of sand in the Big Bend area, and Texas' version of sand dunes is called Monahans. I'm not sure if there is anywhere in Monahans that accepts OHVs, though.
