Anyone tried/managed to put a Prinsu rack on a Cherokee XJ?

I'm interested in a nice, low profile roof rack, ideally with some modular options. The FrontRunner Slimline fits the bill, but it's expensive.

Wondering if anyone has tried to fit any of the more universal designs from Prinsu to their XJ? For example, this one or their 4-Runner line both appear like they *might* be able to fit. Perhaps with some Smittybilt gutter mounts?

Been looking at JCR as well, but by the time you buy the basic rack, powder coated, you're looking at over $600 and their base rack only has 1(?) cross bar. It's in the running, but I love the design of the Prinsu racks. Just figured I'd see if anyone has tried mounting one before.

Kargomaster low profile is the lowest and strongest rack I found. Both static and dynamic load capacity is great. Lots of options and accessories available as well.

Better pic. Modular rails hold whatever accessories you decide to put on and it has an internal 2” hoop supporting the rack on to the roll bar. Top is still fully removable and makes absolutely no noise when you have front panels removed.
