I am going to be pulling the trigger on an ARB Simpson Series 3 RTT with the attachable annex.:wings: Auto Parts Dealer Came in pretty reasonable on the price with free shipping.

Can anyone comment on this company? I have never purchased anything from them, so I'm running a little blind here. Any help would be appreciated.

Will they ship a tent to AK for free? Their site says "All Free Shipping orders ship UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. Not eligible on all products and orders.". A tent is far too large to ship via ground, it has to go freight. As they likely have never used a RTT let alone the RTT, I would make sure your getting the Simpson IIIB or III.5 as they are commonly called, there are still lots of the earlier tents out there that have the older parts and floor issues.

Thanks for the heads up on the older models out there. As far as the shipping goes, they said they could ship to Fife Washington for free. That's how I normally get my gear, equipment, parts, etc. I have a carrier that I use to barge it up here to Alaska from Fife. So any free shipping I can get to Fife, I like to jump on it. I will find out if it is the newer units that you stated. That's why I came on here tonight before I pulled the trigger today...lol A fella just needs to know these things:coffeedrink:

95% chance they can't tell you the difference unless they have used/installed them ;)

Also, hopefully them have them in stock, ARB in Seattle does not and they are back-ordered until mid-April.

I placed an order for a Hitch Gate tire carrier from them through their website for a smoking price and free shipping. A day later a manager called and said they could not ship it for free and it would cost $150.00 more. I saw they were in Irvine CA, just a few miles away from me, and I said I could pick it up. Their Irvine office is just remote sales office, not a warehouse. He said the carrier had to come from the East Coast. There website shows a price guarantee and I brought that up to him, told him he needs to honor the price. He said if I wanted the carrier, I needed to pay the shipping, and bring up the price guarantee with the company, separate from AutoPartsDealer, that offers it. I told him to get bent, and refund my CC, which they did.
