Anyone used this system? Garmin GPS 18 USB GPS Receiver for Notebooks

I have used it on one convoy trip with my buddy, but it was all highway/street driving. It seemed to be a little bit more accurate than Microsoft Streets & Trips. I personally liked it, but like I said before it was only for one trip so I didn't really get to test it to its full potential.

I have the garmin software on my computer... with the n-route program, but not the voice guided stuff.... I just have like 10ft of cord that goes to my GPS unit... I like it because it gives me a huge screen with a highly detailed map.

Not sure what you are asking. Are you wondering how the receiver works or the software?

Rightyo sorry about that...It seemed to hold a signal well when I used it we travelled through some pretty thick trails with low overheads, but I believe it is a WAAS unit so I wouldn't be surprised. Other than that it seemed pretty "normal". To me that's the most important thing is how well the signal holds. I constantly lose the one in my work truck, and I'm positive it's NOT a Garmin.
