Anyone using a truma-s-3004 for heating?

Interesting! I have contacts in Germany... getting one over shouldn't be a big deal as I have a batch of goodies coming over anyway. Still have to find out about compatability to our north amarican propane, pressures and connections...

What did you end up using?

It may be different in Europe, but when I talked with them at expo they were much more focused on selling to RV manufacturers rather than direct to consumer.

In other words I should try and get a wholesale account with them :-)

We run one in my daughters ex-ambulance LT35, it's cheap and fairly easy to install, a 3-4 hour job. Needs a square hole in the bottom of the truck. You can buy them everywhere in EU.
They will run on cylinders from Campingaz, but not in the very cold, and on normal Scandinavian cylinders, even when really cold.

The Truma is used in every German and Scandinavian manufactures motorhome or trailer build.
