ARB 1250 off the back of a camper shell

I’ve got a Tacoma, Leer 180 camper shell, and Yakima roof tracks/bars. I put a long cargo box on the roof, and also want to put the smallest ARB awning (4’ wide) on the back since I’ll be cooking on the tailgate and it seems like a better place for an awning than the side since you don’t have to move outside the awning to get stuff out of the back. Anyone have a similar setup? How did you mount the awning?

I have a similar awning and love it,i use 3" muffle U clamps with L brackets.

Its true this is a small awning but its good to have,i am looking for a tent awning for it but i will have to do some modification because of the tailgate.

I mounted mine to a piece of 48" square aluminum and bolted it through. It gets more use than the larger one.
