Do the instructions have a wiring diagram of how to hook up the lights in the bumper? I have an ARB that was on my Defender when I got it but the lights don't work - I've just been too lazy to dive into the wiring harness and figure it all out - too busy adding other accessories.....
Very nice looking rack by the way - is that one of the ARB racks? I went with the Hannibal on mine.
Hey Jack, I just look at the turn signal box and there is no wiring diagram. It only comes with a parts list and some instructions.
Call ARB tech center and they will help you out. They are pretty good at it.
The rack on the Defender is definitely an ARB but it is not my Defender. I own a Classic two door Range Rover. I just pulled that pic from the web.
I had several inquiries about the side rails on the Defender and again it is not mine. I checked my export ARB catalog and apparently they are not longer offered. I only found some for Toyotas.
I too had an ARB (now on my 110) that was on my 90. You wire it directly into the blinker wire behind the blinker on your truck. When you initially do, however it will cause your blinkers to go haywire!
You have to change the bulb type for it to work properly again.
Go to www.D-90.com and do a search for blinkers and it will tell you precisely which bulb to use depending on whether you have a bumper with blinkers or not. The bulbs are available at any auto parts store.
