Careful! That might be considered ExPo bling! It looks nice, but I think my wife is rubbing off on me. She says a Grand isn't really the type of SUV you off-road with, more for mall-crawling... And this from the guy who drives a Liberty!

What was the purpose of installing a snorkel on a stock WJ?

I believe ARB was looking for a donor WJ to try out their new snorkel and NW4wheeler happened to volunteer since he located near ARB's USA headquarters in Renton, WA.

NW4wheeler- Looks good buddy!

I could see this thing being useful out in the dry desert area where you would happen upon a few rivers you might need to cross, but out here in the Mudwest that thing would likely get ripped off within a few minutes of heading out onto a trail. It would stay on about as long as BW flares do around here. There are some very thick tree lined trails on the East side of the Mississippi, and that thing just dont belong out here.

It sure looks cool though, I'll give them that, but not my cup of tea.

A WJ on 32's and some decent built axles will take you farther than you can imagine. I think it's great to finally see the WJ get the Snorkel

Yes freebies are very nice. My plans are to put on ome springs and an arb bull bar along with a roof rack and cargo divider and it should make quite the camping expo rig. Also it will be nice for the next flood. Last time my boss wouldnt let me off work and I had to drive the flooded streets back home in water up to the headlights.

Sounds like a great setup, I am looking at replacing my other Jeep with either a WJ or late 90's Ranger for just camping and fishing, because having a Jeep on 35's isn't as fun for that kind of stuff anymore.

I laugh sometimes when i think back to the days of the full size dodge on 37s not being able to go anywere because we couldn't aford the gas. The wj makes it everywhere i want to go and gets halfway desent mpg's. Also the fishing poles can be thown in the back with the rear seat down and still have room for a third passenger and the once in a blue moon that i have to tow anything its got enough weight to it to tow quit nicely.

Any SFA Jeep is gonna be awesome offroad.. then you mod it and it only gets better... Nothing street queen about a WJ unless you want it to be..
