ARB/OME -- Petition to support the WK2 Platform

I know we are few on this forum, but "WK2 owners unite!"

We need more companies to provide support for our platform.

I have contacted ARB and have been provided this link to petition ARB Senior Management to begin supporting the WK2 platform:
http://www.arb.com.au/contact/international/

Below is the message I left for them, but you may leave one in your own words (or just copy and paste mine):

"Please begin providing support for the Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 platform. I appreciate the great products you produce, but unfortunately I have learned that they are not available for 2011-12 Jeep Grand Cherokees. Our community is eagerly awaiting lift, roof rack and locking diff options for our platform.
Thank you!"

The ARB Representative that I spoke to stated that the corporate executives in Australia would probably consider looking at producing accessories for our Truck, if they were to receive 500+ messages.

With the diesel coming next year Im hoping for better product support. I bought my girlfriend a hemi overland for hauling the dogs around and foul weather commuting to school and I like it a lot...actually planning on using it in 2 weeks to take some friends down to stanford for the Oregon game.

The only lift currently available is a rocky road 2 inch spacer lift, and it only works with models without air suspension. I wish someone would make a conversion available to ditch the gimmicky quadralift so it can have some real tires. Also a real roof rack, snorkel, and steel bumpers would be nice. With better support it would make a good alternative to the LR4.

Ah, I missed Snorkel and Bumper!!

I have looked into the Rocky Road option and was discouraged by my local lift shop. They said that rocky-road.com products were of lesser quality and that, although they would instal it, they would not guarantee the outcome. The good news is that OME did the 2" lift on the Mopar 'offroad edition' WK2 at last year's SEMA and they are supposedly taking it public. It is my hope that a solid petition response from a great many of WK2 owners will encourage them to do it sooner than later!

Good luck, just the setup costs for the machining would eat up the first 30-40 lifts they sell. I'm sure that after a few years they will come around, but right now the market share for the WK2 is so small that it isn't very profitable yet.
