Arb RTT install question

Posting here before I call ARB to see if anyone has run into this.

ARB rtt in side opening position. Have the C channel rails attached to the bottom of the tent per instructions. Im looking at the inserts that slide into the rails to bolt it to the rack, since the rails and inserts point the same way, what keeps the tent from sliding off given enough force?

I hope i am explaining this properly. I understand that the inserts are tightened down, but in an accident the tent could just slide off the roof since there really isnt a locking pin. I was thinking of fabbing one up anyways for peace of mind. Am i over analyzing?

I'm assuming on the ARB it is similar to this (from my CVT).

If that is the case, Friction, plus a bit of deformation where the bolt is.

I wouldn't sweat it. I've hauled that tent over all sorts of crap and at all angles. If that tent has gone somewhere, it will have taken the rack with it.

Yea, its similar to that, glad to hear that it does stay. I think just for piece of mind, im going to drill a hole to put a wingnut "stopper" in case it does decide to slide anywhere. Thanks!
