Well I was on my home the other day and got the dreaded code for the knock sensor. Of course on the G.M. 5.3l it is under the intake manifold so all that has to come off. It will give me an excuse to also due some extra cleaning but man what a pain. I'll post pics as I go for those that need to do this one day.
So far I have a new intake gasket, both knock sensors, cleaners for t.b. and intake etc. Over $200 and I still need to get the replacement wiring harness from chevy tomorrow. Plus since it has 160k on it I'm probably going to replace the injectors since the rails and everything are coming off.
