I have an 8' bed or I would be all over this. Can you give me a brief review of likes and dislikes of the Summit particularly how it performs in the wind? No obligation, just hoping to get an honest review. I've never had a summit.

ah, man. It's killer. I think the wedge campers are superior in the wind and inferior only in foot room-- I hear tall people can 'feel' the roof while sleeping. I'm 5'11", never was a issue. Wind, heavy rain, and HOT weather was never an issue in here-- plus I could raise the roof with a kayak on top. I really liked that the bed hinges up to the roof. Lots of space in there. I do a bit of mountain biking and having a quick place to stand up/ get changed was killer. Added benefit of the wedge is that you can have a Decked (or similar) system installed and still have plenty of headroom. I only wish it fit my new truck

Thank you so much for the feedback, when you really didn't need to. I'm on the shorter side too, so doubt it will be an issue either. I love hearing that you'd do it all again if you could and keep what you have now if it fit! Any must have accessories that you liked? I see you had the Tern windows. Worth it?

ehhh, I'd probably opt for a tern Hatch on one side for access. I don't really hangout in the camper unless I'm sleeping or changing, so the Tern windows are a bit much. They're super nice though. The pillar LED's are pretty weak, I'd probably opt for a DIY option there. Their solar setup was great and very nicely installed, I'd do that again. I'd skip maxxtrax mounts as I don't have maxxtrax, and I'm not a fan of festooning my vehicles' exteriors with things. Oh, and I'd like it iof it fit my truck. Still for sale. Nobody's even come to see it. 😭
