Attaching anti-condensation mat

How do you attach your anti-condensation mat to the floor of your tent? I bought a used CVT tent and it came with a mat. When I close the tent the mat slides out. Do I need to fold the mattress and mat before I close the tent? Thanks.

I used some of the existing bolts that attach the ladder and put a couple of self-drilling screws also

I installed some diy matting and used gorilla tape in a few spots to hold it in place

I hadn't thought about velcro. I've got some industrial strength left over from another project, I'll give that a try.
