Aussie to North American Translations needed - weights and measures

I'm looking at both Pause and Bruder as options. Since I'm Canadian I know what a kilo to pound conversion is . But I'm wanting to be sure when Bruder says "Weight: 2420Kg" is that Dry like NA manufacturers quote all the time or is it max? If max weight, how do you calculate net carrying capacity (IE payload).

I'm hoping someone here can help translate for me and help me understand how the Aussie trailers are measured and advertised.

Do it for the 'gram
What's included or not included in any given weight is an incomprehensible mess in 99% of trailers manufactured world-wide. Contact the specific manufacturer you're interested in and get the correct information straight from the horse's mouth.

Since you mentioned Bruder, I'll advise you to do a thorough search through these forums (and the wider web) for their brand name and do some reading.

Which Bruder model do you need specs on?

There is one owner in 2019 ish that ordered and had issues. He put up a website listing his complaints. A FB group reposted and it went wide. Lawyers got involved and he took his website down. But the internet is forever so the web archivers have some of the site still. No manufacturer is perfect, this particular situation appears really emotionally tied to some medical and remaining life to live stuff. Suffice it to say from what I could glean, Bruder (in my opinion) could have handled the messaging much better, and likely (complete opinion and guess on my part) this gentleman was perhaps not as equipped to deal with RV life given his particular situation. As they say there is my side, your side and the 3rd side the actual truth. Due diligence on any manufacturer is warranted given the investment we make in this lifestyle. Small shops have production problems and financial risk. Big shops (like Forest River brands) have less of a financial risk but more of a big corporate accountant change that will mess with supplier choices and the brand's ability to be nimble to change. So Caveat Emptor as always.

That link worked. Funny that some of the specs (total height in particular) are listed differently on 3 different places. Not surprising as the specs are still probably being finalized. I have a hunch that only a prototype exists in real life so far. Still no NCC and it's a wonder how this can be ~60% the weight of a similar sized Pause. Yes I know Pause are kinda on the heavy side of life.

The Roam Resilient looks pretty cool. Also looks like a very new, very small operation. No chance of me handing over more than a $500 token deposit to anyone prior to me putting my own self in the unit I will own before real money changes hands. Certainly not all of it prior to 30 days delivery.
