Mitsubishi is on the floor plan but was not there! Just wow. So some impressions of vehicles we are looking at. The wife is getting a Toyota Inferno 4 Runner. Things to like include armor, manual 4x4 selector, TRD upgrades, however it is a very dated truck, interior, trans, engine, interior features, and a low slung fuel tank.
The F150, as I am dreaming of a Raptor some day is more like a Range Rover, or maybe a Mits had they continued on there original path, Twin Turbo Eco V6 slamming out possibly 600HP(365 basic model) and better gas mileage then the old Iron 6.2V8, spot light mirrors, loads of led lighting. tons of A/c and D/c outlets, USB ports, slide back double moon roof, name it. 360 degree camera, extra switches for off-road add ons, blah, blah, blah.....I have to say the F150 and Ford Raptor designs do impress, its too bad Ford does not put out a similar design for a trail rig(not monster full size SUV) as well as maybe a Tacoma sized truck.
As always the Rubicon, the only real competitor to Toyota in the off-road rig world( I dont count the Xterra, but you can) feels extremely dated and like being in a tin can. Hard to justify such a big purchase for some great off-road gear.
