Well a few things jump out. For one that LOOKS like it's just an HJ, as in NOT Turbo'd Diesel... ANd it is in fact a 3 door Toupy and not a 6door wagon, and a 93 mAking it non-exempt adn there fore NOT importable... Oh and then thers's Vintage off-road, haven't heard alot of good things about them.
I still want it and would not even hesitiate to try everything I could to get it registered... Those trucks are just so AWESOME!!! Great upright driving position, masive chasis and capacity, factory lockers, with a snorkle the diesels will swim like a duck if need be
. There's a guy here in Portland that HAS a 70 series UTE with a fixed box bed and I keep trying to figure out where he lives/hang's out so I can pick his brain on how he got the thing...I absolutely LOVE them, they are, to me the ultimate Expo platform this side of something like a MOG or Kym Bolton's small Fuso FG based camper...
