Awning angle question

Quick question about awnings...is it OK to mount it such that the vehicle side will be lower than the pole side when deployed? I know this is opposite of normal setup, but the rack on my trailer is about 58" high, and I'm trying to avoid having to spend money to have some kind of new rack or awning mount fabbed up if I can. Thanks everyone!

Not really a problem. Rain may pool on the vehicle side since you can't drop a corner to promote runoff.

I run it that way on my trailer, however when it starts to rain i lower one of the poles to provide a place for the water to run off.
