Can someone give me the part # that SMB uses for the FIAMMA awning?

Isnt it the F40 pro?

SMB wants to sell me the installed price even though im will call'ing it and bringing it home to install myself. :Wow1:

Does anyone know if you can just buy their mounting brackets by themself?

My SMB has a Fiamma F45i I believe. I called Fiamma support in January and they does not have the brackets to sell you. It is an SMB item. Not sure if they will sell it seperately. I suggest calling Peter. He got me some of the expansion nuts when mine failed.

Brackets

I'd bet you that Aluminess makes the brackets for SMB. They make a number of things besides the fancy bumpers. You could try giving them a call. I'm sure SMB would sell you just the brackets, though. I bought a set when I picked up my van.

SMB can be pretty could about some things. They may just install it for free, rather than be charging you the installed price.

Awning Parts

FIAMMA sells direct to RV dealers. If you had your own "RV company" they will sell direct to you. My firend and I bought direct from them. They also have brakets that are spected for a VW Van gutter mount that work with (slight modification to the front mount) and require no holes drilled throught the vans walls. SMB'S mounts are through bolted and lead to cracks in the sheet metal. I should SMB my mounts and they did not really care. I have an 11' 45i mounted on a EB window van, which SMB said was impossible. You can PM me if you whant more info.
