axle length for m416

i want to run a new axle with 5x4.5 bolt pattern to match my jeep
i plan to run
wheel- 15 x 7 with 4in backspacing
tire- 31 x 10.5
the frame is 41 in wide
so what size axle should i run
i was thinking maybe 52 in wms to wms
any thoughts?

That's going to be too narrow. With your wheel and tire choice, you can estimate that the inside edge of the tire will be 5.75" inches to the interior of the WMS. With a 52" axle, your frame will be 5.5" inches to the interior of the WMS.
