Looking at swapping a new GM Goodwrench TBI 350 (290HP/330FTLBS) with a 4L60E in front of the Toyota T-case into our '89 FJ62.
I looked at an LS1 but the project starts getting way more expensive, the simplicity of a TBI 350 has a lot going for it as well.
However I'm not in the position to do the install in the yard & was curious if anyone could recommend a shop that would do a great job.
The time (and coin) that it would take to tow it to TLC or Mudrak makes the project less doable.
Anyone know of any AZ shops/wrenches that would do a super great clean install?
