Back in a Land Cruiser, sorta

After almost 2 years in the JKU I decided that I missed the Toyota quality and fit and finish to their products. I have been looking for a while to find the replacement 100 series and recently came across one that fit the bill. It checked out in person, paperwork was taken care of so we now own an 06 LX470 with 141k on the odometer, timing belt was done at 96k and good service records with the dealership and 1 owner. Nothing major will be done for a while.

Nice work! I went from a OME lifted 2011 JKU Rubicon with 25,000 on it to a 1999 OME lifted 100 with 175,000 on it, and the 100 is so much tighter and smoother it's laughable!

Congrats on the new LC. And you can drop the "sorta" from your title. The LX470 is far more Land Cruiser than any of the FJ "Cruisers" and 4Runners that people try to insist are Land Cruisers.

Very cool! My brother in law has an LX470 and loves it. The previous owner did most of the build up on it and tried to make the AHC work as the lift for a while but the weight of bumpers etc made it keep dropping out of the high setting so Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters tore out all the AHC stuff and installed an OME lift. Works great now. Congrats on the new ride.

Here's my BIL's if you're looking for any ideas.
