Backcountry baking

I've been using variations of the Outback Oven for over ten years now. Even my lightest of backpacking trips often include fresh, hot coffee cake in the morning. I've been on day two of a long trip and snacked on baked brie with chutney or even a hot, crusty pizza.

I've also come to realize how few people know these widgets exist. Anyone else use an OUTBACK OVEN?

I haven't tried one of those, but my Coleman propane oven works great- although a little more bulky.

I used to use mine with my MSR Dragonfly. I had the one that simply fit over your own 8" pot; I never had the kit with the dedicated baking pan.

Small pizzas, baked pasta, peach cobbler, brownies, cookies (albeit one at a time), and coffee cake.

Great product for the weight/space conscious traveler. I would also use the fabric dome to help keep foods hot, as it is a great insulator.

i got one for motorbike trips,, they work really well.
