Baja 500 Race Photos (June 5, 2010)

5 Photos( with more to come) taken yesterday at Erendira( Baja Malibu area). The first two photos are of the two leading motorcyclists at that point of the race,mile 320, and they had a 30 minute lead over their nearest competitors. The next 3 photos are of a very determined "I am going to finish this race" rider that was then in 4th position.

The cool thing about the incident is that this bike lasted about another quarter of a mile and my friends loaded his bike onto their truck(photo) and took him back down the course where they found a competing racers support team. The support crew team then took the back wheel off a Honda like his and mounted it onto the bike and got him back in the race. During the Baja Off Road Races everyone is looking out for one another.
