Baja shore fishing help

Hey guys,

I'm heading to Baja for a few weeks and want to catch some dinner while I'm there. I have a decent size spinning rod with braided line but need some help with tackle. I mainly fish lakes up here for trout so ocean surf fishing is totally foreign to me. I have various spoons that I use for trout and pike, what else should I be buying?

Thanks for the link for the book. I'm not looking for a ton of details, just hopefully suggestions on what types of lures I should be buying for casting and possibly setups for bait casting. We will mostly be on the Sea of Cortez side from bay of LA down to cabo.
