The BajaRack is made from 1 inch carbon steel tubing that fully encloses the perimeter and the smaller built-in ½ inch carbon steel tube grill floor.TCM said:Will, Wendy, do you know what diameter tubing is used on the Baja racks? The perimeter looks to be one size with the interior flooring a smaller size. I plan to get either the Baja Expedition rack or the ARB Touring rack and am just trying to compare the two. I know the ARB uses a combination of 1.4" and 1" tubing.
TCM said:Thanks for the info Wil. One more question. Do you know the length of the flat section, without side rails, on the ARB Touring Rack? I assume it must in the the range of 55" or so to accommodate a 1.4M wide tent which would leave approximately 32" for the front section basket. Again I am just trying to compare with the Baja Expedition Rack which has a 58"-26" split.
Do you guys include the fairings and net as stated on bajarack.com?
