Hate to see anyone get hurt, but this guy made quite a few basic errors.

Apparently the guy had fairly minor injuries. Unfortunately, a rider who went through the curve a little later crashed due to fluids being left on the road (among other factors) and ended up down the mountain. It looks like he'll survive, but his injuries were far more severe. There's a pretty substantial discussion on ADVrider.

Cnynrat is spot on, however, about the Triumph rider's very basic errors.

How fast he must have flipped, for the camera to only catch him on the bike, and already 3/4 through a front flip.

I just learned how to ride a motorcycle (dirtbike) and it was a blast...but like they say, it's not if, it's when you crash. I'll definitely be taking it slow.
