Bed Plugs

Anyone here have any ideas about plugging the drain holes in the bed of the tacoma closest to the cab? I thought silicone might work, but what about rubber plugs, in case I want to run some wiring thru there in the future? I need to have the bed completely sealed seeing as how I am going to be living in the back of the truck for a while, and don't like rain seeping in. Thanks for the help.

I used Gorilla Tape to seal the holes in the storage compartments along the side of the bed. Two winters later and it is still holding strong.

I thought about covering the drain holes in the bed, but the more I thought about it the more it seemed to be a good idea to leave them open. I might ingest a little dust through them but water is not going to come up through the holes, and if something spills under the sleeping platform it has a place to drain out.

you could probably use silicone and tape to make your own plugs or buy some of these from McMaster Carr. push them in then trim to fit.

Now we are in business.:smiley_drive: Thank you for that recommendation. I always forget about the MacMaster. I should just start checking there first before I bother you guys on here.
