I am a fan of design and architecture, so they are neat prototypes.

On the other hand, it does not look like a single one would survive one night in the real world, never mind being dragged around in the woods/mountains/desert, etc...

Four architecture firms out of California built four working Truck-A-Tecture structures that drove themselves to KANEKO in Omaha, Nebraska

Not a single one of those drove to Omaha. Transported via semi? Sure, but not a single one was driven (much less drove themselves)
