Bentley commercial shot with iPhone

Bentley and Apple commissioned a video that shows, in part, an iPad with accessory keyboard integrated into the Mulsanne sedan. The video, titled Intelligent Details, was shot using the iPhone 5s, and edited using iMovie on the iPads in the car.

To achieve the desired video quality, the iPhones were equipped with a variety of stabilizers, wide angle lenses, mini tripods and the like. The last minute or so of the video shows how they did it.

So will the iPhone replace the Canon EOS 5D Mark II in the videographer's gear bag? No. But it's worth knowing you can shoot high quality video of your next adventure with your phone and a couple of accessories if you want to.

nice find! I enjoyed watching that. Interesting how the frame rate of the iPhone made the driving lights pulse and flicker.

Thanks, that was very interesting.

I've got a Bentley dealer near where I live and last time my older brother was in town, we were walking by the dealer and he said, "Let's go in." I was like, "You just can't walk into a Bentley dealer!"

But he did, and I followed. The salesman was very nice, easy to talk to and answered our questions, and even let us take pictures in front of the two cars that they had. I tell you, if I won the lottery or simply made it big, I'd buy a Continental GT!
