Best Brake Pads

So I just put on a set of cheap-o brake pads not too long ago, maybe 5 months ago. Every time I'm off-road and I get dirt in there, they squeak really bad. The wildlife can hear my brakes from a mile away!!! So my question is; In your experience, what brake pads work the best for you?

I've used EBC on my truck and was happy.

Since getting the Toyota, EBC is the only non-OEM brakes I've used (I'd use Toyota again, I use Toyota drums, rear shoes and rotors), but seems like years ago Raybestos was OK on a Ford I owned.

at 46,000 miles I am still on my original Toyota pads so I'll stick with their brand
Same here. OEM Toyota has been the only brake components I have had zero issues with.

Centric posiquit- ceramic, or akibono ceramic-no noise, no dust on wheel,
great heat dissipation, long lasting, cost less then O.E

For you guys using Hawk or EBC, how have they held up off-road? There was an interesting discussion about pads on TTORA a couple weeks ago, and while mostly everyone agreed that those performance pads would do as good or better than OEM on road, no one had tested them in significant amounts of mud, water crossings, dirt, etc.

I'm using Hawk pads and SP slotted rotors in front. They have been through some dirt and water and such. They seem to be holding up fine.

I believe they work better than stock, which are pretty good too.

I will switch out the rear as soon as they wear out.

I was pointed to this place for brake stuff. My buddies dad races his BMW's and buys stuff from them. He's the one who originally suggested Hawk pads to me.

They were knowledgable and helpful when I spoke to them.
