Am looking into an Engel 45, who has the best pricing for that unit. I see from $695-750. Any info much appreciated.

I think if I were in SoCal, I would go to AT even if I found a lower price somewhere else, considering superior local customer service worth the few $$'s.

Engel has a min price... most retailers are selling them at that price. At this point it is going to be tough to find one in stock at the moment. The next Engel shipment is due in early September.

We are currently sold out until that shipment arrives.

Correction:
OUR shipment of Engels including a bunch of MT45's arrives the beginning of August.
Hmmmmm, you're selling Picos you never sat in and he's saying you're out of Engels you have coming in. I'd guess you guys need to talk more, or tell Wil he's not the SE mouthpiece. :coffeedrink:

Got my Pico Blues yet?

As Flying W&W said we are all waiting on the next shipment to come in at the beginning of August.

If you order from Sierra Expeditions you save on tax but pay shipping (unless they are offering one of there great specials), if you pick up from us then you pay tax but save on shipping.

We all appreciate it when you buy from one of the Vendors who support Expedition Portal.

I'd advise you pick up a transit lock with the 45, that way you can secure it into your vehicle http://www.i-m-d.com/engel/1Accessories.htm

Blue Picos arrive tomorrow. Depending on arrival time, I can also ship them tomorrow.

Wil has a "real" full time job and I run SE full time.

We got our hands on some Engels coming in on this August shipment, but now Engel is sold out of the MT45's until September.
He had it right, just minus our shipment.

He is the know how and I am the engine that runs it.
Let me know how you like those chairs!

Great advice... The transit lock is a great add on.

Like mentioned above there are many sponsors of this forum that you can purchase an Engel from. To see the current sponsors you can click here:

I have dealt with most of the sponsors of this site and they are all a pleasure to do business with from my experience.

I am in the same boat right now. and as much I love to support our vendors here. A buck saved is a buck somewhere else. My deciding factor was shipping and tax. So my winner is

Cabelas.

free shipping on all orders over 200 bucks through July 28th. and as long as your state does not have a Cabellas retail location, you pay no sales tax either.

So it winds up at my door an I didn't have to even spend my time or gas money or give money to the tax man or shipping. That is worth alot.

I hope mine will show up in a few weeks.
