Better way to attach to battery?

I’m running the STech system to control lights, fridge, etc. but I don’t like how the 12v+ lead attaches the battery. Is there a cleaner way to attach to the stud vs how I have it done (based on the instructions)?

Thanks

Is the wire long enough to run it under the red pos battery terminal wire.
You can also flip the spade terminal upside down so it will have a lower profile.

The braided wire should be fused where it leaves the battery.
Agreed.
Plus there are several fuses already there which at least one of those circuits most likely has adequate capacity to connect the added load of that S-Tech thing.
Adequate capacity for the load but a fuse small enough to protect the wire!

it actually goes thru a breaker which isn’t visible.

yes. Maybe I’ll try that.
