I have the 285/70/17 on my FJC. Love them except for the weight factor. They are heavy and do drag down a bit on my MPG. Traction though is unstoppable, even in thick gooey mud.

I've had both and i can definatly say i like the new ones better on the highway.

Going very very slow like when im wheeling in a parking lot or at the local mall:shakin: i feel chatter from the lugs hitting the ground but it reminds me of how cool my tires are

I dont have alot of miles yet on them so i dont know how they will wear.
I don't think you will regret your purchase.

The km is being phased out slowly. The sizes will start to show soon as KM2's. Release date in this size is "September" or so they say.

Not so sure about the KM2, perfectly happy with the MT. Hope the priceincrease does improve the sidewall (but we havent had any trouble at all yet, and really mushed the MT into some rocks). Somewhat annoyed at their decission to drop the MT, as it works well, looks good, and if we need a replacement?...............

I was going to hold out for them but my old Yokohama's had about 52,000 miles on them and needed to be replaced before the moonsoons and a planned trip. I went with the maxis big horns in the same size, just had them mounted tonight.
