Here is the start of my van build will be using UJOINT OFFROAD for the 4x4 conversion.
Installing that myself.
First to start need to take care of the motor.
Getting the full 6.0 treatment at a local shop. Well worth it for years of reliability.

Nothing like an EB diesel cargo to start out with. ;) Hope you get all the good stuff on the 6.0. Looking forward to more details and tons of pictures!

Yes the motor is getting all the good stuff. Head gaskets, EGR delete, New oil cooler, and lots of other top of the motor goodies.
I really like the room of the EB. Plenty of room for the kids and all our camping/boating gear.
Going to add a side window for the kids and more light inside.
I went with the 6.0 for little more power and the better transmission for towing in my opinion.

Front hangers.

Well got the front hangers from Chris, he was right this is the way to install these with the body off.
If you have that option.
Install was fast. Now they are off to be painted.

New window/ Interior

Got the van back. I did not take any before but is was just a stock cargo van to begin with.
I cut in the side window for the kids to be able to see out. Put on some different rims and tires on it since they were just sitting in my shed.
Then lined the walls with 1/4 plywood and covered that in exterior carpet. IMG_1019.jpgIMG_1020.jpgIMG_1021.jpg
Then got some seats from the local u-pull it lot for a sweat 20 bucks.
Now the kids have place to sit. Still trying to figure out how to lay out the rear for best hauling and camping.
Think I am going to build a bunk bed for the kids in there.

I'm curious about the second row seat installation. Did you bolt them down permanently? Or are they removable? The plywood/carpeting really transformed the cargo area, looks great!

Looking good!

Looks like your rear door area is a little beat up like mine is. Not sure how I'm going to fix/massage that.
