Body swap.

Thought I'd post up some pictures and info of the project I just completed. Finally found a beautiful 94 F150 2wd gas engine, green and tan, rust free and straight, rare find in the rust belt. Ole guys baby that he obviously NEVER drove in the salt. I already owned the white F-350 4x4 diesel.

So the tear down begins. Strip the green F150 body off the frame and set it aside. Also the white F350 body coming off.

Finally cab swap time. Boy that tractor sure is handy. Had to use the F350 radiator support as they are different gas vs diesel.

Had to change all the wiring and dash, once again gas vs diesel. Couldn't believe the shiny factory paint on the floor. Heck even the inside of the fenders had shiny factory paint on the inside. Got the rad support painted and interior back in and fired her back up.

That's a fantastic find and so glad to see a couple old Ford's being combined to make what you're wanting. I grew up in Michigan and it's so sad to see what the salt will do to vehicles. I live in the south now and have lived out west and wow it's fantastic to know that rust isn't going to destroy my vehicles in just a few short years.

Here's the finished truck. She turned out beautiful. Kept the F150 title with the body so I now have a F-150 powerstroke.

Took me a total of 12 days. However I only worked 8 of those and the last half had a nasty cut on my hand so that really slowed me down.
