Spring '20 I bought a combo 1993 Silverado 4x4 with new firestone air bags, sway bar, and very low miles. TC is an '86 Cascade that's around 3300lbs dry.
The truck/tc drives pretty good from what I can tell. Original owner used it to travel and race motorcycles 1x a month. Just got done resealing and repainting the int/ext.
I'd like to get a better truck so I can tow my bass boat and be within the recommended carrying capacity.
My bass boat is around 2800-3000lbs
This truck would not be a daily driver and just used for towing a few times a year and hauling wood a few times. Maybe 200-500 mile trips.
I'm at the mercy of the used market so if you guys can make a few recommendations that'd be great.
Budget is TBD as I've got to weigh out my options and what to sell! Ugh.. I have a '07 Tundra I planned on driving into the ground with 4.7l and 245k (still runs well and doesn't burn oil) maybe get 7-8k for it,, and a '06 Range Rover L322 I wanted to outfit to use for overlanding with a roof camper, maybe get 5k for it. Do I sell them both and finance something newer?hmm... Hate financing something that'll only get used a few times a year, but I don't need a car lot lol or unhappy wife.
Appreciate any input!
