Bragging on my daughters first published Rover article…

Great stories of growing up with Rovers. I just got my issue a few days ago, and your daughter’s article was a fun read…

I keep trying to get my daughter to share some of her writing. She’s 14 now. I keep hoping she’ll grow into it and don’t push her too hard.

Any hints?

Thanks! In our case, she had the idea, and had done a draft for school project. But having met Jeff a few times at events, I reached out to him to talk with my daughter. He was very eager to do so, and they got on famously!! He is a great editor, and really allowed her to do her thing...
My only insight is let them know to always turn over the rock, or one never knows what could have been- it’s way worse to not try than to fail!
Good luck to you, and your daughter!! Hope she gives it a go…

That was a fun read. Nicely structured and edited without being overly so. It shows how much of our love for a vehicle is tied to the memories they hold.
