This really is the end of an era for Land Rover. British Special Forces have been spotted in Syria operating Al-Thalab vehicles, a modified Land Cruiser 79 designed by Jankel Co of Britain and built by a Jordanian company.

All the other gun trucks are LC, a Rover just sticks out At least now they can scavenge like parts a lot easier.

It'a all about the supply chain. LR parts just aren't as easy to get in the third world as Toyota parts.
