BritKLR/ATC FJ60 Storage-power station

I wanted to add some small storage and AC/DC power in the back of my 60 to run my fridge and accessories as well as have a rechargeable flashlight at the tailgate. After replacing all the interior panels with 1/8 inch ABS plastic I sourced a yacht hatch cover from Hamilton Marine. I built an aluminum frame that was attached in the opening in the rear driver side well. The ABS cubby was built out of left over ABS and riveted into the framework. The hatch cover was mounted into the rear quarter panel and the panel was remounted over the storage cubby. Once everything was test fitted I mounted (2) DC plugs and an AC converter all wired to a fused power block just behind the panel. I also added a Surefire 12 volt rechargeable flashlight into the storage cubby and it helps me keep all my DC cords in the one place.

Good luck.
