I'm composing a list of trails/destiantions I like to ride in the next 20 years. Based on my location in Phoenix AZ, I'm keeping the list to no father east than Colorado. What trails /destinations would you put on your list?

Have ridden:
Moab (still need to ride Amasa Back)
Phoenix
Sedona
Flagstaff
Prescott
Tahoe (still need to ride Flume and Mr. Teds)
Mt Wilson, L.A.
Everything in Ventura Co. (Cut my teeth in Sycamore Canyon)
Pine Mt/Frasier Park
Brain Head Utah
Thunder Mtn/ Bryce Canyon
Viper/Valencia Ca.
Big Bear, Ca

Want to ride:
Tucson AZ
Payson AZ
White Mtns AZ
North Rim AZ
Gallup NM
Taos NM
Durango CO
Grand Junction CO
Fruita CO
Park City UT
St. George UT
Gooseberry Mesa UT
Bootleg Canyon NV
Kernville CA
Santa Cruz CA
Downielville CA
Mammoth CA

What am I missing? I know there are great places in Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. I like to keep the list with in a 12 hour drive from home.

Sunshine Coast... North Shore?

Sechelt, BC. Between Vancouver Island and Squamish. The best single track I have ever ridden.

One other addition is City Park in Austin, Texas. 6.1 miles of the best technical riding. Constant up and down 1-3 foot ledges.

Just go to Crested Butte for a week this summer! Reno-Flag-Bear, Doctor Park, 40-everthing. Don't forget that you can connect a bunch of them, maybe multi day rides? Monarch Crest/Greens Creek/ starvation creek (Salida area)
That's a really good week.
That's all I can think about right now. Give those some time before they are thawed though. I went for a drive up high today and still found large snow drifts around 11,000ft

Here's some that you need...

In SoCal:
Noble Canyon/ Big Laguna
San Juan Trail
Santa Ana River Trail (near Redlands)
Idyllwild

Colorado:
Just about anything in Fruita (already on your list, but 2x)
Just about anything in Winter Park
White Ranch

In New Mexico:
I know it's already on your list also, but Gallup is great. The High Mesa trail was fantastic when we rode it in November, and I wish we had had time to ride Quaking Aspen. Soon, soon...

For frame of reference, all of these I rode on either a fixed gear or freewheel singlespeed, so they're one gear friendly!

Oregon has lots of trails, although some law just passed that has limited access or even completely killed off riding on Mt. Hood.

There's a lot of trails in Bend, OR and not too far away is the Mckenzie River trail and Metolius-Windigo.

This month's Bike magazine ran an article on Black Rock in Falls City, OR.

add Ashland, Oregon to the list. I was supposed to be there 3 weeks ago but canceled due to snow and a race. My Downieville junkie friends like Ashland better than Dville.

Let me know when you make it to Santa Cruz and I can show you some trails that don't actually exist...
